Threshold
Exhibition
Alcova Milano, IT
Set within the archives of the Baggio Military Hospital, Threshold explores how the most minim can become architecture. Using Dooor textile partitions as its primary material, Objects of Common Interest constructs space not through mass, but through thin threshoulds that suggest boundaries without fully eclosing them.
These partitions do not isolate; they gently reorganize perception, allowing presence and absence to coexist.
The fully white interior becomes a space of suspansion, detached from the surrounding industrial context. The human body activates teh space not only through movement, but through stillness, to show that architecture does not require solidity to exist.
It can arise from the simplest act of separation and within that act, it can hold space for rest, reflection, and a fleeting sense of tranquillity.
