To reimagine the existing illuminated ceiling, the design team incorporated FoundRae’s symbols directly onto its fabric surface. This transformed the ceiling into a celestial canopy, with hand-drawn motifs that speak to the brand’s mythological roots and archetypal storytelling. The existing steel handrails, now wrapped in custom leather, add a luxurious touch. The leather within the cases was carefully selected in a variety of colors—blush, blue, white, red, and black—to align with FoundRae’s tenets and emphasize their meticulously curated selections. A touch of Apuan Oro marble in the homeware area further enriches the elegance of the space.
The FoundRae Melrose store serves as more than just a retail space—it is a physical manifestation of the brand’s core belief in the power of symbols and storytelling. From the celestial ceiling to the interactive discovery drawers and the intimate workshop experience, each element invites visitors to engage with the space on a deeply personal level. Beth’s vision, realized by Spacesmith, embodies a space where every detail tells a story, every corner holds meaning, and each moment of discovery echoes FoundRae’s philosophy of self-expression and transformation.
