The waterfront Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach comprise 111 condo apartments and 15 single-family villas designed by Lissoni & Partners. Developer Lionheart Capital hired Studio Atomic to create the lighting design for 8 unique, fully furnished “model residences” for prospective condo buyers, as well as to provide technical support for the lighting of the development’s public amenity spaces.
The design concept for each model residence was based on a partnership with a range of European/American furniture designers and suppliers including Flexform, Baxter, Maxalto by B&B Italia, Christian Liaigre, and Restoration Hardware, with a custom lighting layout for each created by Studio Atomic. The studio used Miami's cool, natural light to contrast with warm interior lighting, creating comfortable zones in the high-end interiors that showcase natural materials and textures against framed ocean/sky views.
