Studio Atomic was engaged to design a comprehensive lighting concept for two neighboring residences located on Hibiscus Island in Biscayne Bay. The developer split a single waterfront lot to construct two separate homes.
Studio Atomic collaborated with the developer to realize their vision, drawing inspiration from a recent trip to Japan to create unique perimetral lighting schemes. The design focused on highlighting the perimeter of the architecture rather than the center of the rooms, resulting in a modern and soothing ambiance that expands the perception of space through warm, directed light. Energy-efficient solutions were used to accent every detail of the homes.
