Studio Atomic worked with Lissoni to create bold lighting concepts for the Hotel AKA Alexandria in historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

The full building renovation of 200 guest rooms, lounge, bar, terraces, gym, and amenity spaces provided a broad canvas for the lighting plan. Taking advantage of the low-ceilinged common areas and the expansive interior volumes, focus was placed on highlighting furniture, accents, and artwork, creating moody circulation and interaction zones with a theatrical atmosphere.
